As a Massage Therapist Yvonne employs a wide range of massage techniques, including hard and soft-tissue massage, Swedish massage, facial massage, and trigger-point massage to provide relief from headaches, stress, circulatory problems, pregnancy discomfort, back pain, muscle spasms.  Massage therapy effectively releases tight muscles, removing the cause of CHRONIC PAIN.  Yvonne combines gentle, relaxing massage with deep tissue, sports massage.  Her background has come from over 10 years working with musculatory and spinal rehabilitation often caused by sudden injuries on the job or auto accidents.  She connects with clients looking for more than just a basic massage experience; she prefers to personalize each session to optimize the benefits of health.  In 2013, as schedule allows, Yvonne will be going to Thailand for Certifcation for Gentle Thai Massage along with other PT structural and postural rehabilitation courses in Seattle.

 Amanda Vaughn, LMP

Massage is more than a job for Amanda. It is an art, a lifestyle,
and a passion for her.  Amanda feels massage is a holistic practice and
believes a therapist should take into account more than the
bio-mechanical aspects of the body when working with clients to
achieve a state of improved wellness.  Body, mind, emotion, and spirit
are all considered with compassionate respect in her massage sessions.

Amanda discovered her interest in massage therapy while she was
studying history at Middle Tennessee State University.  She graduated
with a B.A. in history and a certificate of completion of the massage
therapy program in 2006.  Later that year she moved to Seattle with her
German Shepherd guide dog, Winnie.  Amanda and Winnie enjoy calling
Seattle home, and they are often seen out and about at Pike Place
Market, the Seattle Symphony, and walking along the waterfront.  She
was recently asked to serve on the board of directors for Seattle's
first guide dog organization, Independence Guide Dogs.  Amanda enjoys
the fine arts, reading, writing, traveling, and cooking, especially
large dinners for friends.

Her massage skills and modalities are wide-ranging.  She has studied
oncology massage, lymphatic facilitation, Structural Relief Therapy,
geriatric massage, and hot stone massage to name a few.  She works well
with clients with sensitive bodies, special needs, and clients with
disabilities.  Amanda is especially interested in oncology massage and
is currently applying for membership to the Society for Oncology
Massage.  She is nationally certified and a member of Associated
Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).
